Back after the well-deserved summer break, we report on main events happening at and around university at the beginning of the new winter semester (the Welcome Day, the “Remembering 2015 Solidarity Walk” and Francesca’s participation at the student conference “Jane Austen at 250” at the LMU Munich) as well as some upcoming ones (the lecture series “Remembering 2015” and “Gaming and Science”, the international conference “Queer Journeys in North American Literature and Culture”, and the upcoming Career Days with Anna Amann).
