A Musicmix on Oram Awards
Seit 2017 werden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Radiophonic Institute, der PRS Foundation, dem Daphne Oram Trust und dem British Council die Oram Awards an in Großbritannien ansässige und seit zwei Jahren auch an jeweils zwei internationale female, trans and Non-Binary und Gender Diverse Musikschaffende vergeben. Ziel der Oram Awards ist es, eine Plattform für Innovationen in den Bereichen Sound, Musik und Technologien zu schaffen und so die Arbeit und die Stimmen dieser unterrepräsentierten Musiker:innen eine breitere Öffentlichkeit zu ermöglichen. So auch an Geo Aghinea, deren Track, die heutige Sendung eröffnet.
Am 19. November findet die Verleihung der Preise zum siebten Mal im Kings Place ab 18:00 Uhr WET statt.
