Host Lukas Jakob Löcker welcomes Montreal based artists Pulsatilla (Lisa) & Hazy Montagne Mystique (Chi) online to share music and insights on local cassette culture, their connections to Austria and the sonic world of the label Jeunesse Cosmique!
TAPE THAT is a radio-show for 1 guest, 2 hours, 3 tapes – we listen to the cassettes together, discuss the tape selection, as well as what we have just heard and its background. The resulting media-theoretical, artistic, social, personal, musical or purely sonic themes are thus discussed and contextualized! Over a longer period of time an archive of different socio-cultural „Phongraphic Anthologies“ will be developed and thus their preservation, respectively a corresponding appreciation of the artifact itself.
