Sutra 2.14 coming up today, This is the last of 3 sutras that talk specifically about the importance of our actions in life. Sutra II.12 introduced the idea of the ‘Law of Attraction’, which basically says that everything we do has a consequence, whether we see it immediately or not. And highlighting TKV Desikachar today, just as I have pulled out his fabulous book the heart of YOGA again and will be sharing his Concept & Meaning of Yoga, that graces his book as introduction.

Living long enough,

we each find outselves surrounded by an old way of being,

thinking, or loving that is going up in flames.

In that unexpected moment, we usually find ourelves full of fear,

feeling trapped by an old way of life coming in on us.

But this is the passage of rebirth that we must move through if our lives are to unfold.

It is the momentary and painful crossing from what is old into what is new.
